Description

About the Wine: The 2013 Brunello di Montalcino has aromas of orange peel, dark berry with plum and cherry notes and mushrooms characteristics. Full body, juicy and fruity with firm tannins and a fresh finish. Argiano gives great attention to encouraging beneficial organisms and natural predators in their vineyards and use no synthetic chemicals. Their goal is to unite the soils’ microbiology, microclimates, clones and vineyard conditions to bring out the best of Sangiovese each vintage. 2013 was a balanced vintage, a lot of rain at the beginning of the year and low temperatures. Hot summer with good reserve of water.
